The following points must be noted in connection with admissions into the full-time PhD courses of Himalayan University:- A candidate must have a master's degree in the chosen subject/field with at least 55% marks.
- Successful candidates in any of the exams of UGC (JRF) Examinations/ NET/ SET/ SELT; or candidates with an M. Phil degree in their respective desired subject/stream, are eligible to appear directly at the personal interview designed for final selection.
- Relaxations and concessions will be given to candidates belonging to the categories of SC/ST/OBC etc., as approved by the UGC and Govt of India.
- Rs. 2500/ for Non-APST ( Non-Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe ) candidates.
- Rs. 1500/ for APST (Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe) candidates.
